Welcome! My name is Lila Quintero Weaver and this is my official site. I am a graphic memoirist, illustrator, and children’s author. Thank you for your interest in my work. Here’s a quick introduction to my books:

• Heralded by Book Riot in its “100 Must-Read Graphic Memoirs,” Darkroom: A Memoir in Black & White is an illustrated account of my family’s early years as Argentine immigrants in Alabama. (The University of Alabama Press, 2012)  Learn more here.
